Who We Serve

At its inception, H.E.A.L.T.H for Youths was created to help adolescence realize their full potential by improving education as well as their physical and mental health. To pilot our program, we worked with students from underserved communities on an individual basis.

In February 2011, H.E.A.L.T.H for Youths was the recipient of a New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON) technical and financial assistance grant. NYCON is a statewide, membership-based charitable nonprofit organization specializing in bringing nonprofits across New York the services and training they need to achieve their nonprofit missions and goals.

The grant and support from NYCON allowed our organization to go through an extensive strategic planning process in 2011, which we look forward to sharing very soon. Under our strategic plan, we will partner with different youth-based organizations and offer our wide array of services. In 2012 we will no longer work with students on a one-on-one basis.
